We constructed three decks, each supported by heavy-duty vertical columns and interconnected by stair runs made of C-channel steel with welded nosings. The landing platforms had to be measured to the millimeter due to the door clearance issues and exterior wall textures. Our team also installed custom-fabricated guardrails with vertical pickets, ensuring code compliance and safety at every level. To anchor the structure securely into the mixed masonry and concrete base, we used chemical anchors and steel plates bolted into pre-cut notches.

During the fabrication, we ran into a few challenges. The biggest was aligning the stair runs without affecting the existing wall structures. The lower platform needed exact leveling to compensate for a sloped excavation site, and the brick façade near the first floor had to be carefully worked around to avoid any structural damage. Thanks to our welders and fabricators, we got the job done cleanly, using MIG welding and sealed joints to handle long-term weather exposure.
